Vanuatu has many beautiful 'blue holes'. They are in the coral reef or inland in limestone rock, beautifully clear, beautifully blue. It is something unique, looking thru crystal at your pretty blue legs. The blue filter produces unusual effects. I am not sure, but think it has to do with underwater springs that flow everywhere even into the coral reef or out from under a banyan tree.
The Blue Hole out the front of the Rocky Ridge Bungalows was a magical place for me, I returned every day at low tide just after lunch, my underwater camera always at the ready.
